Ryan Leung

BSc

Ryan is a final-year undergraduate student majoring in Ecology and Biodiversity at the University of Hong Kong, with a particular interest in freshwater and terrestrial ecosystems, thermal ecology, and phylogenetics.

Currently, Ryan is a research assistant studying the interactive effects of river water pollution and warming on freshwater shrimp by measuring thermal tolerance with ctMax assays. His past research experience mainly concerns human impacts on biotic communities and encompasses both field and laboratory aspects. Ryan has always had a passion for wildlife and an ambition of working in the field of conservation academia, making him a vital contributor to our mission at AXversity.
